Gary P. Fitzgerald, MST, CPA, PFS, ABV, CVA, is the Managing Director and heads the Audit and Business Advisory Services Department and has particular expertise with non-profit organizations, real estate and construction, high technology and biotech companies and business management.

Although the Washington, D.C., region experienced the worst economic downturn in its history in the late 1980s, FC continued to thrive. We attribute our success in the face of a troubled economy to our steadfast commitment to provide our clients with superior auditing and accounting, tax and management consulting, and other specialized services. This commitment to excellence at all levels of our business continues to allow our firm to attract and retain a diverse group of quality clients and thereby make FC less susceptible to regional economic changes. FC is presently refocusing its attention on its core accounting and tax practices, with peripheral emphasis on business consulting and business valuation.

We regularly participate with affiliated member firms in client engagements to insure the highest level of client services is rendered. The Association organizes annual seminars on accounting and auditing, tax, management advisory services, practice management, and seven industry groups.

The Firm is a member of the Division for CPA firms under the AICPA, which includes the Private Companies Practice Section and the Center for Audit Quality.
